Berkeley on Bowen Project Update
The privilege of having several business units under the RQC Group umbrella has allowed us to collaborate on a range of projects.
This allows each business unit to focus on its individual service offering, whilst leveraging other units’ expertise to deliver exceptional results to clients.
The On Point Electrical (OPE) team recently made upgrades to the common area lighting fixtures in Berkeley on Bowen. This New Farm residence is currently managed by the team at Baker FM.
Leaning on the RQC Group values – Respect, Quality and Connection, On Point Electrical work in genuine partnership relationships with our existing clients and other businesses within the Group.
Here’s a summary of the work completed:
Prior to the upgrade, Berkeley on Bowen had 42 fluorescent lights installed throughout the ground floor car park. With each light on average 55 watts, this equates to 2310w of electricity per hour for 24 hrs a day. The goal was to upgrade the building’s lighting to be energy and cost-efficient. The lights installed have motion and timing capabilities. When idle, the upgraded lights operate at 10% or 3.5w until they are triggered by movement. When activated, the lights operate at 36w and will turn off automatically after 90 seconds.
